A Fine Antique Staffordshire Copper Lustre Cream Pitcher With Make-Do Tin Handle
Likely made in England, circa 1850-1860's
Embossed relief hunter scene on a green glazed background, A earthenware body, and a copper lustre glaze. The handle was broken off in the 19th Century, and a tin handle was made and fitted onto the body of the pitcher.
Size: 7 1/2” across, 4 3/4” deep, 6 1/4” tall
Condition: No chips or cracks that we have seen. Tin Make-Do handle restoration from the late 19th century or early 20th century.
