How does a power steering rack work?
As the pinion gear rotates it slides the rack left or right aided by the fluid pressure from your power steering system. As the rack shifts, it moves your tie rods which are connected to your steering knuckle which turns the front wheels of your car.
How do I know if my steering rack needs replacing?
