New GM crankshaft hub keyway for 96-97 LT1/LT4 engines. This sits in the crank and is notched to clear the keyless factory hubs. The keyway notch is reduced to drive the crank sensor pickup/reluctor on OBD II applications. This is not for 92-95 LT1 engines (read interchange notes below). Fits the following:
96 LT1/LT4 Corvette
96, 97 LT1 Camaro/Firebird
96 LT1 Impala
NOTE : If you are assembling or building an LT1/LT4 engine, this keyway is for LT1 engines THAT ARE using a crank sensor in the bottom of the timing cover (which was originally installed on 96-97 LT1 engines). View our inset photo of the differences. If you have any questions, give us a call.
