This item is an Exhaust Camshaft that was removed from a 2001 Kawasaki Mojave 250 (KSF250)
This part will fit all 1996-2004 Kawasaki Mojave 250 Models. The 1987-1995 model camshafts are a different part number.
I didn't try to start the Mojave but I did check the compression by rolling it down a hill and popping the clutch in 2nd gear. It had 150 psi. The engine must have been spinning too fast for the decompresion to work. The kickstart didn't work due to a bad spur gear.
The Camshaft and Sprocket are in Very Good Condition. I couldn't find any problems.
The lobe and journals are smooth and look great.
There are no broken or chipped sprocket teeth.
The decompression mechanism operates smoothly and snaps right back as it should.
