We are contacting our valued customers to address the
ongoing economic challenges that many of us are experiencing. At Images from
History, we are committed to delivering the high-quality images you expect at a
reasonable price.
However, we have faced significant increases in the costs of
producing and delivering prints, including an increase in expenses for
photographic paper, ink, cardboard, and other essential supplies needed to
delivery your prints to your door, which has put considerable pressure on our
operations.
Additionally, it is important to note that eBay imposes
substantial fees on sales, amounting to nearly 40% of each transaction, our
commission to eBay is calculated on the total sale amount which includes the
base price of the print, shipping costs, and applicable taxes.
I am reaching out to all our customers, both new and
returning, to seek your support in sustaining our business. If possible, please
consider purchasing a new print. I understand the financial difficulties many
are facing, and I recognize that while you may wish to acquire a photograph, it
is not a necessity, particularly when funds are required for essential items
like groceries, fuel and other daily expenses.
I sincerely hope for
improved business conditions for all of us, enabling us to grow our
photographic collections, as I share your enthusiasm for photography.
