There are a new group of listings that are nothing more than junk being sold by a novice located in Prairie Farm, WI. The items were purchased as salvage recently. BEWARE!
After years of financial struggles Muller Industries liquidated in Nov of 2022. What inventory remained was offered for sale to all of the leading windmill entities, including us. We passed, as did all the other professionals across the country, because most of what was left in inventory for 6ft, 8ft & 10ft mills was flawed and had been set aside over the years not intended for retail sale, instead slated for the scrap yard. Tailpins cut too short, springs the incorrect length, undersize castings, incorrect keyways, pin & bolt holes too small or incorrectly located, cold galvanize instead of hot, etc, etc. These flawed items were ultimately purchased by someone with relatively no windmill expertise and now are being offered for sale online described as new, new old stock or some other similar form indicating they are first quality goods, not salvage as they are.
Buy with confidence from any vendor who will assure you their inventory did not come from the liquidation described above and does not carry the Mueller brand name.
