This is a replacement bulb kit for the C4 1984-1989 Corvette dash Jim 9783354096 for info/tech support.

The set includes qty 4, 5 watt, 12 volt, xenon wedge bulbs w/sockets for the main back lighting, and qty 3, 74 wedge bulbs the high beam and turn signals. Your old 74 wedge sockets can be reused but may need cleaning to make contact with the new bulb.
Note that the 74 sockets are correct size. Others offered on ebay will not make contact with the board pads and will not work.
These bulbs are recommended replacements for all 1984-1988 Corvette 882 halogen bulbs and 1989 7073 xenon bulbs. GM went with xenon bulbs in 1989 to reduce heat/power consumption and increase life.
In order to use these bulbs your dash must be removed from the car and partially disassembled. This is recommended in 89 Corvettes too as heat (over years of use) can damage the old bulb socket.
The main 4 bulbs and the turn signal/ high beam bulbs are replaced as an assembly (socket/bulb).
