82-92 Firebird / Trans Am / Formula Clutch Master Cylinder Firewall Reinforcement Plate

Improve pedal feel and protect your firewall with this reinforcement plate. Comes with reinforcement plate and adhesive paper template to mark your master cylinder hole locations if you are swapping from auto to manual. This can be welded in place or installed with panel bond adhesive (we prefer 3M Panel Bond not included). Most if not all auto equipped cars have only one material thickness where the clutch MC is installed. GM did, on later manual equipped cars, double up the firewall to add rigidity. This plate is made from 14ga (0.074") and can be used in either application.
