The modules, made by COMSAT Laboratories, use two WJ AH-1 MMIC type amplifiers, runs on 5 VDC. This amp was built for a system at .9-1.4 GHz but works from .7-2.7 GHz, with over 20 dB of gain & 100 mW output power (+21 dBm typical) at 5 volts. SMA (F) in/out. Extremely handy as Sig Gen booster amp, as a driver for P.A.'s, buffer amp, Radio Astronomy line amp for bulk gain, even distribution amp for multicoupler! I removed these from new, unused assemblies and tested them. They have remarkable consistancy in performance from amp to amp! You couldnt build it for this price! W/ copy of test plot. I have enough of these to build more complex designs like phased array demonstrators, etc.
