For sale are new two-flute, solid carbide router/endmills. These endmills are 1/2" (.500") diameter, 1.125" flute length, 3" OAL, made by LMT Onsrud. These are the Onsrud "MAX LIFE" compression tools, designed for maximum life when cutting in high wear applications.
Compression bits are built to bring the cutting action up at bottom of the tool, while the top of the flute is down cut to force the cutting action down. The advantage is that when cutting double sided laminated materials, both the top and bottom side burrs and delamination are minimized.
This tool is meant for both soft and hard wood.
