Just a BRAND NEW lot of 6 each Heavy Duty Commercial Grade GRADE 70 Lever style load binders with double swivel design.
For use with 5/16" or 3/8" Grade 70 transport chain.
Special hook construction supports the load of the chain and will not bind. Take up is approximately 3.75 inches.
Load binders are heat treated and proof tested with forged heat treated clevis hooks that are marked 5/16-3/8 G7. Color of binders shipped may vary depending on current stock.
These lever chain binders have a Working Load Limit of 6,600 lbs which is permanently marked on handle. This 6,600lb WLL matches the rating of Grade 70 3/8" transport chain. ** Most lower grade binders only have a 5,400lb WLL which is 18% lower than the 6,600lb WLL.
WARNING: Do not exceed WLL (working load limit) for any tie down or cargo control device.
These load binders meet all DOT/CVSA/CHP requirements and are stamped with 6,600lb WLL on every binder.
New Federal and State D.O.T. rules effective January 1, 2004 require motor carriers to change the way they use cargo securement devices. Please check with your States D.O.T. office in regard to these changes.
