The purple body will get trout excited about seeing contrasting colors. The soft hackle CDC creates a ton of movement which will entice the fish to bite.
The Duracell is weighted with a tungsten bead on a barbless Hanak jig hook. The construction of this fly is a proven formula to catch more fish:
