The Cherokee Inidans made shell beads for trade and ornamental use. These beads originate from a site in Sylva, NC.

Here is a very nice collection of (10) Pre 1600's conch shell trade beads. The surface shows a very nice patina with signs of age. Each bead is unique and different.
