About the Structure of SATC Flap Disc: 72pcs small 24x18mm cloth backing aluminum oxide sanding discs are bonded tightly on the plate. The plate is constructed from 8 layers of fiberglass mesh and one layer of non-woven cloth. Metal rings are embedded on 2 sides. This stable structure confirms a 30% longer life span than conventional flap discs
 
Aluminum Oxide Abrasive, Closed Coat: Aluminum oxide mineral features sharp. Closed coat resists loading. The 72pcs closed coated aluminum oxide large, thick discs overlaps which confirms to curved irregulars surfaces, resulting in a consistent finish
 
Strong X-wt Polyester Cotton Backing: Offering flexibility and stability for the thicker cloth configuration.

Fiberglass Backing Plate: Thanks to the high quality special structure of 8-layer fiberglass mesh screen. This reinforced fiberglass backing plate features extra strength, light weight, ability to absorb vibration, and operating comfort

Type 27 Shape:  These T27 flap discs work best from a 0~15 angle and are the best suitable for smooth finishing. The flat-angled discs are primarily used on flatter surfaces.
