- The 5 speed reverse gear can be mounted to any ,except Sportster and V-Rod,with new generation 5 speed transmission through 2006 (for a limited time HD introduced the first generation 5 speed which ran for approx 2 years in production. Please note if your bike is equipped with the first generation 5 speed, this reverse gear will not fit) On some models exhaust modifications may be required
