Provide your dump truck tarp with proper arm tension when rolling and unrolling with Mytee Products’ Spiral Torsion Springs. It is based at the base of the lower tarp arm and is activated whenever the tarp is rolled up. There’s a bent tab in the center of the spiral ring, which latches onto the pivot pin whereas the tail of the spiral spring fastens onto a rod or ledge in the lower arm. • The spiral torsion springs are compatible with most 4-spring and 5-spring tarp systems.
• Replace both sides with a spiral torsion spring if you see any sign of wear and tear.
• If you’re planning to leave your truck for an extended time, it’s suggested to deploy the tarps, keeping the springs in a relaxed state.

Note: 4 springs or 5 springs refers to the number of springs mounted on each side of a spring-loaded tarp system. Make sure to distinguish it from underbody springs.
