The 3M Rugged Comfort Quick Latch Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator. This facepiece combines comfort, durability, and stability. The proprietary quick latch design offers an easy, one-hand touch drop-down mechanism for putting the facepiece on and/off while moving in and out of contaminated areas.
The 3M Rugged Comfort Quick Latch Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6500 Series helps provide respiratory protection in harsh, dirty environments against airborne contaminants when used with approved 3M cartridges and filters. This facepiece combines comfort, durability, and stability with a firm, lightly textured silicone faceseal and strong body construction. The proprietary quick latch design offers an easy, one-hand touch drop-down mechanism for putting the facepiece on and taking it off while moving in and out of contaminated areas. The quick latch also eliminates the need to remove a hardhat or faceshield when lowering or raising the respirator. When properly fitted and used with approved 3M cartridges and filters, this respirator helps provide respiratory protection at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL). While being the lightest silicone 3M facepiece, it is still rugged enough to withstand long hours and extreme conditions. The resilient silicone faceseal offers an extended facepiece life, even keeping its shape in high-heat environments. The facepiece offers numerous other comfort features. Two innovative design features have been built in: a special valve cover that helps to direct exhaled breath and moisture downward and 3M’s proprietary Cool Flow Valve that helps to make breathing easier by reducing heat and moisture. Made to fit securely and comfortably on the head, the facepiece comes with an adjustable head harness assembly featuring long-lasting polyester/spandex straps that stretch and conform to the individual who wears the respirator. This facepiece is compatible with all 3M bayonet-style filters and cartridges, including 6000 Series Cartridges and 3M™ 2000, 2200, 7000 or 5000 Series Filters, to help provide respiratory protection against a variety of gases, vapors, and particulate hazards according to NIOSH approvals.

Versatile and simple to install
The 3M™ Particulate Filters 7093 Series are designed to help protect in higher-heat and wet applications with a swept-back plastic encased filter. An innovative solid-top air-inlet can help reduce premature loading by allowing a channeled airflow. The P100 filters have a unique, spring-loaded filter cover to assist in performing negative pressure user seal checks. Simply press or squeeze the filter covers to restrict airflow and inhale gently to check for proper seal of the respirator.
These P100 particulate filters are both flame and water resistant. They are easy to install. Plus, 3M™ Particulate Filters 7093 Series are compatible with 3M™ Half Facepieces 6000, 6500/6500QL, 7500 Series, Full Facepieces 6000, FF-400, 7800 Series, and 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal Facepieces with AV-632 Bayonet Adapter, thus helping to reduce inventory needs.

After you've determined the contaminants and exposure levels in your work environment, help protect your employees with a properly fitted 3M™ Reusable Respirator and corresponding particulate filters. 3M™ Particulate Filters 7093 Series are NIOSH-approved as P100 filters and are designed to help filter a broad range of oil and non-oil based airborne particulate contaminants including lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic when used with certain 3M half and full facepieces. P100 filters provide at least 99.97% filtration efficiency against solid and liquid aerosols including oils.
These filters help provide respiratory protection from particulate contaminant concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces and 50 times the OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces. Some models include nuisance level organic vapor or acid gas relief. Not for use in environments that are immediately dangerousto life or health (IDLH) or contain hazardous levels of organic vapors and/or acid gases (except hydrogen flouride on certain models).
