*** THIS KIT COMES WITH "FERNCO" RUBBER
BLOCK-OFF CAPS TO SEAL THE EXHAUST PORTS FOR BANSHEE MOTORS! YOU WILL KNOW
WHETHER YOU HAVE THEM IF THEY HAVE "FERNCO" EMBOSSED ON THE OUTSIDE
OF THE CAP (SEE PHOTO OF BANSHEE EXHAUST PORTS). THEY WORK GREAT AND HAVE BEEN
MADE IN THE USA FOR 60+ YEARS. THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MINE AND
COMPETITORS. THEY ARE MADE BY "BLUEFIN". YOU CAN DO RESEARCH SEE
WHERE THEY ARE MADE AND THE PRICE DIFFERENCE. THEY LEAK AIR ON BANSHEE EXHAUST
PORTS. THEY DO NOT WORK FOR THE YZ250. THE RUBBER IS TOO HARD TO STRETCH OVER
THE 250'S EXHAUST PORT. I HAVE USED THEM GUYS AND DO NOT LIKE THEM!
*** NONE OF MY COMPETITOR'S INTAKE ADAPTERS ARE
TEFLON TAPED. THE ADAPTORS WILL LEAK.
*** NOT ALL OF THEIR KITS THAT SAY BANSHEE/BLASTER INCLUDE THE RUBBER EXPANSION PLUG NEEDED TO SEAL THE YAMAHA BLASTER’S EXHAUST PORT, SO YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LEAKDOWN A YAMAHA BLASTER (PARTS MISSING).

Test your engine to see if it will hold 6 psi of air pressure for 6 minutes:
Do not add air to the engine using an air compressor since the pressure rises quickly, and you risk blowing your crankshaft seals. Even if your air compressor has a pressure regulator, you are hard-pressed to regulate air pressure under 20 psi.
Using a bicycle hand pump, stop adding air when your gauge reads 6 psi. Optimally, after 6 minutes, the gauge will still read 6 psi.
If the air pressure gauge DOES NOT hold 6 psi:
Fill a spray bottle with water. Add five or six pumps of dishwashing soap (For example, Dawn). Gently mix soap with water (Don't shake). Liberally spray your entire engine with the soapy solution. Next, pump 6 psi air pressure into your motor. You are looking for bubbles, thus showing you where your air leaks are (see photos). The slower your engine loses air pressure, the harder it will be to find your air leak or leaks. If you see no visible signs of air leakage, but your gauge continues to lose air pressure, take your clutch cover off and check for leaks around the primary gear and keyway. If there are still no leaks, then pull your stator cover and flywheel to check for leaks. If you still cannot locate any visible signs of air leakage, you will need to replace the crankshaft seals in your motor. Then, perform the Leak-Down test again.
