30s 10K Gold LINCOLN GENERAL HOSPITAL Nursing School Pin-Nurse/Nebraska/Sorority

DESCRIPTION:
Vintage nursing school pin. In the style of a sorority pin.
By JOSTEN'S. Lincoln General Hospital School of Nursing, Lincoln, Nebraska (1927-1976). 10k yellow gold, black enamel, prong-set seed pearls. "LGH". With attached 14k yellow gold chapter-type pin in the form of a nurse caduceus. Both pins with hinged pin back and safety catch. All original.
Maker's marks: the "LGH" pin has a Josten's trademark and "10K"; the caduceus pin is unmarked but XRF tests as 14k.
Other markings: the "LGH" pin is engraved on back with initials "B.D.A.".
Circa 1930. USA.
CONDITION:
Both pins are in excellent original condition. No damage. No significant wear. No repairs/restorations.
No bends, breaks, scuffs, mars, dents, dings. No chips or losses to the enamel. No significant scratches or rubs. (Any appearance otherwise is due to reflections.)
On very close inspection you may detect some light typical handling wear: scattered very fine/superficial rubs and scratches. Nothing at all significant or conspicuous.
The hinged pin and catch on both pins are functional with no issues.
