How to Attach: You will need access to the front and back of the leather. This stud has two prongs at 1/2 inch apart. Simply make two small slits in the leather about 1/2 inch apart where you want the stud, then push the prongs through the leather. Then bend the prongs inward to secure the stud onto the leather.

The prong length is 0.31 inches so the leather you are wanting to stud must be thinner than this.
