What is a 'Demo' ladder? A demo ladder is a new ladder that has minor imperfections, such as scratches, scuffs, or dings (see sample pictures below). All demo ladders have been thoroughly inspected by the factory to ensure they meet the same quality standards of a brand new ladder. NONE of the imperfections are structural, and none affect the overall integrity of the ladder. All imperfections are very minor and are simply cosmetic blems. Overall, customers have been VERY satisfied with demo ladders.
Where do demo ladders come from? They are ladders that may have been demonstrated for customers at a Home Show or fair, or may have been display models. They also can be returns that can't be sold as new.
Why buy a demo ladder vs a brand new ladder? Price! This demo ladder saves you $50 off the price of a new one. A brand new ladder is going to become a 'demo' ladder anyway after a few uses, so this is a great way to save a few bucks.
This is the Model 22 Type 1AA Demo Little Giant Ladder, model number 403D. This ladder is NEW, however
it's a demo. The Type 1AA meets the OSHA 375lb, Extra Heavy Duty,
Special Industrial Rating for ladders. The Type 1AA is engineered to be
the ULTIMATE Little Giant Ladder; built for incredible durability and
maximum weight limits. The hinges are approximately 50% thicker than
the Type I Little Giant Ladders, for greater rigidity and higher weight
loads. Expect this to be one tough ladder, designed for years of
dependable service. The Type 1AA is an excellent choice for extra heavy
industrial use, household use, or for the demanding person seeking a
rock solid versatile ladder. This is the "Top of the Line" Little Giant

The Model 22 stores at 5 1/2 feet high, and opens to a 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9
foot stepladder. In the extension position, it extends from 11 - 19
feet, in one foot increments. Perfect for a 2 story house. This ladder

payment.) CAUTION! Beware of the Little Giant Ladder imitators that claim their ladder is "similar" to a Little Giant, but use cheap components or cut corners in the manufacturing process. For example, some imitators use skimpy single pass welds to attach the rungs to the ladder. These skimpy welds meet the basic minimum to pass OSHA requirements, but don't expect them to last long. Even more shocking however is that many of the imitators are now using a newer and cheaper process where they smash flat the ends of the outer rungs and then rivet them to the ladder. They are smashed flat on the ends to make it easier and cheaper to rivet them on the ladder. Little Giant doesn't cut corners during the manufacturing process to save a few bucks, they use double pass welds which is a more expensive process, but produces a higher quality product. Little Giant outer rungs won't become loose and rickety over time like riveted rungs, and they won't weaken and fail like skimpy single pass welds can. Little Giant has been building this quality ladder here in the USA for over 30 years! They are the original, and they are the best! Don't be fooled by a cheaper price by the competition, because in the long run you'll get exactly what you pay for!    The Little Giant Work Platform attaches to any rung of the Little Giant Ladder. It has a 300 lb. capacity (250lb capacity with Type I ladder), enabling a workman to stand erect and use both hands while on the ladder. After placing it on the ladder, you slide it forward, climb past it, and then slide it back with your foot. It's a great standing platform, and very comfortable for your feet. Also, please don't confuse the Little Giant Ladder's
patented telescopic design with the cheaper 6-hinged folding ladders
which have flooded the market recently. This ladder is totally
different in design and function. Folding ladders are unable to adjust
in height as our telescopic Little Giant Ladder can
easily do. Relying on 3 pairs of hinges, the competition merely bends
into a number of contorted positions in an attempt to mimic our

telescopically adjustable in one foot increments, both in the
