This pen comes with the original inner and outer boxes, Montblanc documentation, and the fountain pen has the original Medium sticker attached to the barrel. This Montblanc is Guaranteed Authentic and never inked.
When the original was developed in 1906, the ‘Rouge et Noir’ exclusive fountain pen was considered an outstanding technical achievement, ensuring simple operation without the need for dipping the nib into an inkwell. The Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir celebrates the 110-year-old pioneering spirit of Montblanc. Reinterpreting the legendary writing instrument, it features a longer, slimmer silhouette, modern piston filler technology, and craftsmanship refined over generations. The exclusive fountain pen's barrel is made of coral precious lacquer combined with a coral precious resin cap. The Snake Clip in a vintage look with matching fittings. The clip is made by a stamping and winding process in a special alloy metal and is aged by a unique galvanic and stripping process.
The cap and barrel are in perfect condition with no cracks, nicks, scratches, or repairs. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel. The trim is perfect, with no scratches or wear. The cap is stamped with "MONTBLANC" on the side. The underside of the Snake clip is stamped, "MADE IN GERMANY METAL". The back of the Snake clip is the serial number, "MBBG6GMT8". The fountain pen has the original sticker on the blind cap, "M" for a Medium nib point. The fountain pen measures 5 3/8" when capped and weighs 35 grams.
The Rhoudiam-coated 14K/585 gold nib is finely engraved with a serpent design. This nib is designated as MEDIUM and the point measures .84mm when using digital calipers. This fountain pen is new old stock and never inked, I wanted to keep it this way for the new owner. These nibs always write with a smooth, soft, wet line and I am sure this one performs to those specifications.

This Montblanc Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir Coral Fountain Pen is a stunning and very stylish writing instrument that was crafted in Germany. Montblanc is no longer making this coral color/design, you might be able to find the black one at a Montblanc Boutique store but it is my understanding these have been sold out worldwide by Montblanc proper. This gorgeous Montblanc Fountain Pen is in Mint Condition and never inked. A marvelous addition to your writing arsenal collection!

These are antiques so expect them not to be "perfect".
