For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 2012 Aurora "AMERICA" Limited Edition Fountain Pen in Red, White, and Blue streaked Resin material fitted with an 18K Gold Medium Nib. This Aurora comes with the original boxes, Aurora Literature, and the Aurora America Ink bottle that is unused. This fountain pen has never been inked, and I consider this fountain pen to be in Mint condition with the boxes and literature.
Aurora pays tribute to the American continent with a creation that celebrates its rich tapestry of cultures, peoples, and adventures. From boundless landscapes to the spirit of the frontier, this land evokes the thrill of discovery and the emotion of conquest. It's a journey through solitary plains and vibrant cities, told through the symbolic details engraved on the pen’s decorative ring: the Native Americans, the land’s earliest inhabitants; the pioneer’s wagon; the desert cactus; and the majestic condor inspired by the enigmatic Nazca Lines.
This Aurora Fountain Pen is Limited Edition #3457 (numbered on the cap banding) of 7500 made worldwide. The cap and barrel are in perfect condition with no cracks, nicks, scratches, or repairs. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel. The 1trim is perfect, with no scratches or wear. The Fountain Pen measures 5 1/8" inches in length capped, 6 1/8" inches in length posted, and weighs .84 ounces.
The cap and barrel reflect the colors of the American flag—white for purity and innocence, blue for vigilance, perseverance, and justice, and red for valor and courage.
Crowning the piece is a “Red Jasper” gemstone, casting a warm crimson glow across the marbled resin body. The clip is adorned with a finely engraved map of the American continent, completing this homage to a land of legend and legacy.
The barrel is then imprinted with the Aurora name, a nod toward its vintage roots. There is a clear window by the section, allowing one to see the ink levels inside the pen. The filling unit is a piston filler style and works as it was designed to. I tested it with water, and it works perfectly.
The nib is marked 18K/750 Aurora and has a medium point measuring .80mm when using digital calipers. The nib has never been inked, and I wanted to keep it that way for the next owner!
This Aurora is like new, as it has never been inked. Comes in the original Aurora boxes, literature, Aurora hang tag, and the Aurora Unused Ink Bottle.
This is an absolutely beautiful and high-quality Aurora Fountain Pen with fantastic color in Mint, Never Inked Condition. A marvelous addition to your writing arsenal collection.
