1975 Iida iida 5 String Banjo Excellent Condition GUILD DEERING WASHBURN

This pristine, near mint banjo is a one owner instrument! In our family since 1975, this all original (no mods, replaced parts, etc.), resonator 5-string archtop back banjo was made in Japan by Iida (sometimes incorrectly referred to as Jida or Lida). Iida set the stage for the emergence of quality Japanese banjos in the 1970's. This banjo is in excellent condition and has a great tone! Featuring a fast mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard; and the position markers on the fretboard are dots or mother of pearl inlays.An archtop back provides for great volume without extreme weight. Very light scuffs on the back of the resonator (the finish is not compromised), and the case has a gouge in the top (see photos). Thanks for looking, and will ship out to you pronto!
