Up for sale is a circa-1974ish Fender Jazz bass neck. Maple, bound and block. Good shape with lots of wear. Functionally, it works fine. Truss rod turns fine, neck is straight, played fine when installed. Binding is intact - although there are spots where the binding was damaged either by refret or natural wear and tear. Headstock finish was presumably sprayed and/or sanded but the logo is original insofar as I can tell (why? I don't know). Cosmetically, lots of honest wear otherwise. Some dirt. Frets have no significant wear to note. Original ferrules. As far as I can tell the frets seem to be original. A dent on the back of the neck as pictured.
