Here is one of the COOLEST bikes I have ever seen!

Here is a rare original AMF "Flying Wedge" 20" muscle bike! I was told this was new around 1970 (The serial number is L457062)  This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, the majority of the parts on this bike appear to be original. (see pics and be your own expert. I took lots of pics and have nothing to hide) These bikes are next to impossible to find! (you wont any in the current or closed ebay listings!)

*The bike is in the original and very appealing YELLOW factory painted color. (I was told this is not common for these bikes) The bike has the unique cool design long double bar factory frame, "Peace" frame inserts, original head badge, unbelievably  UNIQUE design matching adjustable "Steering Wheel" handlebars, (Ive never seen a set of these before) slightly newer hand grips, chrome rear sissy bar, cool pedals, unique built in kickstand, and so much more! Check out the super UNIQUE bucket seat! The seat has survived relatively well. (not flawless but better than most. See pics) I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! This one has the correct chrome pie tin chainring/chainguard in place! (has age) The bike is an original single speed with coaster style brakes. (pedal backwards slightly to stop) It has chrome raised center wheels front and rear with a Bendix 70 rear hub.  Both front and rear tires are 20" and do hold air.  The rear is a wide Carlisle SLIK TIRE!!! The bikes of this era were designed after the old drag racing cars of the time! LOVE IT!

*A good friend of mine says this is "the coolest bike I have EVER seen!"  I hope someone out there can appreciate a cool AMF/Roadmaster USA made muscle bike!  They did not manufacture a lot of these bikes and not that many survived! A great addition to your collection at a great price!

*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE!  Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore!  They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

*NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. I love the fact that this one still wears its original paint.  (has chips scratches age etc) The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to)   I cannot get over how COOL these handlebars are! I have never seen a set that you can adjust the level of the top bar.  If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you bid.

YOU WILL SEE MANY SCHWINN KRATE BIKES BEFORE YOU SEE ANOTHER ONE OF THESE! A GREAT INVESTMENT!

*Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. This awesome ride starts low with ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVE so bid early and don't miss out! This will sell to the high bidder! Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.

*SHIPPING TIME I ship bikes on Tuesdays and Fridays via Fed Ex. Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment. If I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Thursday, it gives enough time to have it packed and ship Friday AM. If paid after that time, please expect it to go out with the next shipment.

*SHIPPING COSTS: Fed Ex, USPS, as well as UPS have recently raised their shipping rates due to the higher cost of fuel. Sorry for the slight increase in shipping costs.

*PLEASE NOTE, I WILL NO LONGER BE SHIPPING FULL SIZE BIKES OUTSIDE OF THE USA. This is due to the high cost of shipping and customs. If you are anywhere outside the lower 48 States including Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico contact me before you bid as shipping will cost more. Fed Ex just increased the rates. I can ship to AK, HI, or PR for approx $99.95. This is a 10+ day service and includes packing. This i the best deal I can get to ship to these locations. Please do not bid if this is unacceptable. I always try to keep things as reasonable as I can. If you have a friend or family member in the lower 48 states, I can ship to them for the amount stated in the listing. THANK YOU!
