DESCRIPTION:
Original United States Army tropical combat uniform trousers. Vietnam War era.
By SIDRAN SPORTSWEAR, INC. 5th pattern. 100% cotton poplin, rip stop, OG-107. 2 thigh cargo pockets with slanted, double-button flap (the left cargo pocket has a small interior pocket with button flap). Side slash pockets. 2 hip pockets with slanted, single-button flap. Vertical seam above the hip pockets. 7 belt loops accommodating a 1 1/2" belt. Adjustable waist straps. Button fly (5 button placket). Draw string ankles. Knee darts. Plastic buttons throughout. As expected for 5th pattern there are no cargo pocket drain holes and no cargo pocket leg ties. All original.

There are some ID numbers hand written in laundry marker inside cuff as pictured.
I recently acquired these pants from the estate of the original owner.
CONDITION:
Small discoloration at the left side of the fly in the photos.
Otherwise these pants are in very good original condition. No damage and no significant wear. No alterations/modifications/repairs.
Professionally laundered, pressed (with starch) and stored away early 1970s. The laundry tag is still attached to the inside of the fly.
Gently used. Medium fade.
No frays, holes, scuffs, tears. No unstitching. No blown-out button holes.
Generally very clean as found. No other spots/discolorations/stains. No irregular fading or color irregularity. No pet, cigarette or other unpleasant odors.
All buttons are present, secure and unchipped.
