1953 FLORIDA passenger license plate, from BROWARD COUNTY (Ft Lauderdale, Sunrise, Deerfield Beach, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, Delray Beach), in South Florida. Steel plate uses a bright orange base with royal blue embossed lettering and rims. 100% original paint, with no touch-ups. Includes the embossed "SUNSHINE STATE" nickname at bottom, and uses the school colors of the University of Florida Gators! Slightly longer tag than usual to accommodate 8-digit registration, harder to find.
Plate is STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with NO tears to metal, NO bends, NO rust, and NO extra holes. Paint is STRONG and SOLID, with decent gloss. A few paint chips and scratches to be expected with age.
