Vintage 1951 Cornell University Delta Upsilon Fraternity Paddle. Solid hardwood (cherry, maple or oak). 

Inscribed with "Fall House Party" on the front of the paddle, and the maker's mark, "L.G. Balfour, Attleboro, Mass." circling the handle. 

A school keepsake that once belonged to my grandfather- a proud Delta Upsilon member and Cornell U Class of 1951 graduate.

Kept in nearly perfect condition for ~75 years.
