This is a 1950 vintage original Kay Rosewood tailpiece from Kay M1B #23110. I removed this from the original bass and it has been in storage, preserved in pristine condition.
This is vintage original, not a replica. The Kay decal is ORIGINAL not a reproduction water slide decal.
As a vintage collector of American made plywood upright bass I can say this is one of the nicest, fully intact Kay tailpieces.
