Trader-BOB's MUSIC offers a very nice, 1950 Oahu tube amp. 10" speaker, made in Chicago, by Valco. Serial number V39908. I believe the wattage output is around 15 watts. Dated, by the speaker, and pot codes. The speaker code is 285024, translates to 285= Rola, 024 = 0 being the last digit of the year, either 1940, 1950, or 1960. 24, being the week of the year. This unit was not made in 1940, or 1960. The pot codes are 304013, translates to; 304 = Stackpole Electronics, 0 + last digit of the year, 1940, or 1950, 13=, the 13th week of the year. Again this unit was not built in 1940. Great operational condition. The only thing I have had to change was the 110v power cord. I installed a three conductor grounding plug, and cord. Rather short, but is what I had available in a smaller gauge. All the capacitors, are stock, originals. slight hum, (volume controlled), when no instrument is connected. Works quietly, like it should, when connected up. No hissing sounds in the pots. A few blems in the white tolex, but above average condition, for it's age. Read my feedback, buy with confidence!
