"Alternate" Delegate badge for the 1936 Democratic National Convention held in Philadelphia 

Original, with no Repairs.

  Bar at the top which has "Alternate" in brass inside of ruby enamel work.

 Suspended from this (on two 1 1/2" linked chains) is the Liberty bell with a rendering of Franklin D. Roosevelt and John Nance Garner. Attached to the top bar are two pieces of red ribbon, 3" long and 1 5/8" wide.

The Bastion Brothers hallmark in stamped into the back of the bell.

This piece measures 4 3/4" long from the top to the bottom of the bell
