1930’s Chef Hat Cap Ship Uniform Steam Steamer Cook Rare Estate Find

Recent estate purchase. The lady running the estate said her grandfather left the US to be a cook on a ship in the 1930’s. The hat and chef shirt was brought home upon the gentleman’s return and passed down through the family. Please let me know if you have any questions about the item.
