A wonderful pair of medals that are framed under glass from this 1928 Republican National Convention to elect a candidate for President. It turned out to be a race between Herbert Hoover the Republican and Al Smith the Democratic candidate. The frame is wood and measures 8 by 6 inches. Both medals are silk and metal with the delegate medal measuring 6 inches long and the Massachusetts measuring 2 3/4 inches long. Condition is very nice for both medals please look at all photos. The backing on the frame is thick cardboard and looks to have been a tripod with that part missing.
