This is a pictorial, souvenir book from the 1894 Midwinter International Exposition held in San Francisco, CA. The title is “In Remembrance of the Midwinter International Exposition 1894” by Andenken. It measures about 9.5”x 6.25”was printed in Germany. It has 16 pages of pictures including buildings at the expo as well as other tourist spots in the area. The pages have completely separated from the cover (except the 1st page which is attached to the front)(pics 3-6). Then there is a group of 3 pictures, 1 picture, and then the rest of the book. This book was like an accordion so not every page of attached to the cover, just the front page. Then you could open up the rest of the book to show the pictures in a long line. Some of the other pages have some tears along the fold(last 2 pics). It does have some issues but it doesn’t seem like it was made to withstand time and use. It is amazing it is all here after 131 years.
