The John C Haynes built Bay State Guitars, in addition to some of the most sought after brands of the vintage era. With their amazing tone and playability, they have more than stood the test of time.
This Model F Bay State is sought after due to its 2" nut width and 25" scale length. You can put steel strings on it but it sounds incredible as is. A modern Classical cannot match the tone of this this .08" Spruce Top and Brazilian Rosewood neck, back and sides.
The guitar has had some work done over the years as you'd expect from a guitar made in the 1890s. It plays and sounds great. Everything is stable on this guitar and the newer frets are perfect. The headstock has never been repaired. The top had a small hole repaired and the back has a couple of stable cracks (see pics)
This will ship in a vintage chipboard case.
