Original 1884 coal delivery receipt from Pittsburgh, issued to Mr. John Sevening for 63 bushels of coal. The wagon weight is noted as 1675 lbs. Signed by the Weigh Master, "Robinson." Dated September 22, 1884. Back of the receipt includes handwritten calculations, likely related to the coal delivery or fee. A rare piece of Pittsburgh industrial history and a great example of 19th-century commercial documentation.
