1850s SCARCE SMALL SIZE PITTSBURGH PILLAR MOLD DECANTER WITH CUT NOTCHES

Here's a rare small size Pittsburgh pillar mold decanter with cut notches on the pillars...You are only buying the ONE small size decanter on the right.....Sometimes called a riverboat decanter because of the shape and heavy glass making it almost impossible to fall over, even if used on a rough riverboat.....hand blown in pillar mold....applied shoulder ring.....cut panels around neck.....ground pontil bottom....large bar ring lip with lower ring....only 8 1/4"tall.......It has a couple small chips on very bottom & some normal old wear on the lower ring of cut notches near base; no other damage. A nice clean decanter with only some faint content haze in bottom. This is a hard to find small size!..........
