Here's an early pontiled dip mold blown apothecary medicine bottle from an 1840-1850s drug store or apothecary shop. It has TINCT.FER.MUR. in black paint on gold background painted on front of bottle ....Hand blown in cylinder dip mold, so there are no mold seams...rough pontil scar on bottom...ring collar with ground glass stopper.....8 1/4"tall (9 1/4"with stopper)....Excellent condition with no chips or damage.
