This interesting map is from "A Comparative Atlas of Ancient and Modern Geography" by Aaron Arrowsmith, published by E.P. Williams, London, 1841.

This hand coloured map measures approximately 35 cm x 27 cm or 14" x 10". It is hand coloured, printed on one side only and is perfect for framing.  This is an original antique, 179 years old. The map has the date 1841 printed at the bottom with the publishing details.

Aaron Arrowsmith the younger (1802 - 1854) was from the important family of mapmakers founded by his father Aaron Arrowmsith the elder (1750 - 1823).
