This product is designed to allow a current under 30 Amps to flow to keep wind turbine generators from burning out. An electric current in excess of 30 Amps will overheat the breaker causing the fuse to auto disconnect stopping the currents flow. When the current drops under 30 Amps the breaker will cool and electricity will start to flow again as the continuity is restored.

An auto-reset automotive circuit breaker provides continuous operation during an overcurrent condition, specifically for DC applications. A 12V circuit breaker will continue to recycle until the source of overcurrent is found and then corrected.  These 12v circuit breakers are single pole and stud mount. When a 12 volt circuit breaker had these characteristics, it is referred to as a type 1 circuit breaker. It can be used in a variety of  applications including wind and solar but not limited to automotive, trucks and buses. 

  • Constructed with internal composite alloy material to deflect and separate the contacts when an overcurrent situation occurs and return to the run mode as it cools.
  • Operating temperature: -10° F to 150° F.
  • Storage temperature: -20° F to 200° F.
  • Engineered for durability.
  • Breakers include nuts and washers.
