SHIPPING INFORMATION AND TRANSIT TIMES Shipping Policy: We ship to your payment address ONLY. On orders totaling $500 or more, you will be required to sign for the package. Please make all arrangements with shipping prior to sending payment. Combined Shipping: We can combine shipping, but only if you are using a PC. You must be signed into your Ebay account (we can't combine if you are signed in as a guest). Put the items in the shopping cart and click the "request total" button. Then it will go into our "awaiting payment" folder. This feature is not available from Ebay if you are on a mobile device. Ebay does not offer a method to combine international orders. Anything you ship by any shipping method is figured by the greater of actual or dimensional weight. There is no software that can figure that correctly. No software knows the size of the boxes available or how an item needs to be packaged safely. So, it all has to be done manually. Sometimes it is less expensive to ship items separately due to size/weight thresholds that add USPS/UPS/FedEx additional handling. Calculating Shipping: The total shipping charge is based on package weight, and box dimensions. Starting Jan 1st 2015, ALL packages shipped by any shipping service are going to be based on dimensional weight. To figure dimensional weight multiply length x height x width and divide by 166 for USPS/UPS/FedEx. Example: 12 x 12 x 12 = 1728/139 = 12.43 which rounds up to 13 lbs. All dimensions are measured on the outside of the box and rounded up. We have a large selection of boxes that we use to ship your item cost effectively. We also build custom boxes for all larger items so that they can ship as efficiently as possible. Certain items are not able to be combined due to their size or ability to ship safely together. To receive the combined shipping discount, the order must be completed in 1 single payment. We have a negotiated rate with the carrier. And we pass those savings on to the customer. Freight: On items that ship truck freight, you must contact us prior to purchasing to get a shipping quote. Certain items that ship in multiple boxes we list as freight. The Ebay Shipping Calculator is unable to figure shipping for multiple boxes. Ebay International Shipping: When you purchase through the EIS, Ebay is handling almost everything. On our end, we get an invoice to ship to the Ebay facility in Glendale Heights IL. From there Ebay takes over. They process through customs, then they consolidate with other items shipping to your country. And then hand off to a local shipping service for final delivery. We can’t combine items as there is no method for Ebay to figure the correct package size & weight. We don’t handle anything other than shipping to Glendale Heights IL. The majority of the shipping cost is generated by Ebay from Glendale Heights IL to its final destination. Ebay has a size limit of 78" length & girth and a max weight of 40 lbs. (Canada is 60 lbs. max weight). Handling Time : We have a very efficient shipping staff. Most of our orders are processed and shipped out the same business day, however, your service selection may affect the pickup time. The handling time of your order depends on what time of day you pay for your item, the size, structure and quantity of your order. Please allow us time to package your order properly. Transit Time : We offer UPS ground on nearly all of our products. UPS offers the best cost and accurate time effective shipping service. We also offer USPS Priority Mail for smaller, lightweight items. UPS Company published transit times, our observed transit time (time we normally see in transit), and our pickup times are listed below. If you need something delivered by a certain time, we suggest UPS. Business days do not include Saturday, Sunday, Holidays, nor the day of pickup. - UPS Ground - 1-5 Business days (1-6 observed), our pickup time is 1:30 PM CST
- USPS Priority Mail - 3-5 Business days (4-10 observed), our pickup time is 12:30 PM CST
Estimating your delivery time : Your total delivery time is handling time + transit time. Here are some examples: - You order a small easy to package item on Tuesday 10:00 AM. If you select UPS, we will more than likely have that item shipped out that same day, as our pickup time is well ahead. If you select USPS, we do not have enough time to get it packaged for pickup that day and would be shipped the following business day.
- You order a large, difficult to package item on Tuesday 1:00 PM. It is already past our pickup time for USPS and would need to be shipped the following business day. There is also not enough time for us to package your item by UPS's pickup time and would be shipped the following business day.
- Misconception times : If you order an item on Friday at 4:00 PM. It won't be shipped out until Monday. Also, orders placed after hours are treated as being placed when we open on the following business day.
