Original, century-old antique prescriptions from 1899, serially numbered from 108201 to 108300. They were filled at a pharmacy in Brenham, Texas.
The packet is held together with its original staples/clips. It was a common practice for pharmacists to serially number prescriptions and compile them in groups of 100.
These are all original prescriptions from 1899.
Several prescriptions have a handwritten date, like "12-28-99" on #108300.
Some use Roman numerals for the month, like 25/XII for December 25, 1899, on #108257 & #108258.
Many of the prescriptions are written on a pad with 189_ preprinted on the bottom:
