Dusk to Dawn MODE

Put the "Mode" switch in the D2D position.

Function:

 

  • The light turns on automatically at dusk or night and turns off at dawn or if it’s too bright for your sensor.
  • D2D Mode only works at night. When it's bright around the sensor, it goes off automatically. Except for Lux, Time and Range don't work while using this mode.

 

TEST MODE

Set-up:

Put the "Mode" switch at the Test position.

Function:

 

  • The light turns on for only 5 seconds during daytime or night once it detects motion.
  • This mode is used for checking whether the sensor is working properly.
  • Test Mode can work during the daytime and night. Except for Range, the Lux and Time Setting doesn't work while using this mode.

 

AUTO MODE

Put the "Mode" switch at the Auto position.

Function:

 

  • When the sensor detects motion, it lights up for 1-10 minutes according to the time it has been set.
  • While using the auto mode, the toggle switches off and 2 seconds later on again. The light turns on continuously for ca. 8 hrs and goes off in the daytime.
  • Auto Mode only works at night. When it's bright (> 100-150 LUX) around the sensor, the light goes automatically back to Auto Mode.

 

ON-TIME MODE

Set-up:

Put the "Mode" switch at the On-Time position.

Function:

 

  • Light can work as a standard LED light without motion sensing.
  • The light turns on when switched on, turns off when switch off.
  • On-Time Mode can work during the daytime and night. The Lux, Time, and Range Setting doesn't work while using this mode.

  • Time knob is used for setting working time from 1-10 minutes when it detects motion.
  • Time setting only works in Auto Mode.

 

Sensor Sensitivity

 

  • For setting ambient brightness value to differ from daytime tonight. If the ambient brightness value exceeds the setting Lux, it is defined as "daytime"; otherwise it's known as "nighttime".
  • Position 0 equals 3 Lux, Position ∞ equals max Lux and it's always regarded as night no matter how bright around the sensor.
  • Lux setting only works in Auto Mode and D2D Mode.

 

Detecting Range

 

  • Rotate the knob to adjust the sensing range to max ca. 50ft motion coverage.
  • When you mount the light over 7.8ft, please adjust the sensor upwards and set the max range to increase the coverage area. Time setting only works in Auto Mode.
  • Range setting only works in Test Mode and Auto Mode.

 

Attention

 

  • Make sure that there are no infrared or ambient lights pointing towards the motion sensor.
  • Make sure that there are no other influence factors that affect the performance of light.
  • Be sure to disconnect the power before you install the light.
  • Be sure to mount it in a dry location, humid environment is not good for light's lifespan.

Installation Guide

  1. It is AC powered and required to be hardwired to the junction box. (NO Battery, No Solar)
  2. DO NOT install the camera on the opposite side of this security light because infrared rays will cause the security light to not work properly. If you still want it to be installed, please avoid infrared directly irradiated or reflection on the sensor.
  3. Recommend wall mounted, but also can be horizontally mounted under eave or soffit. Recommended installation height is 3.2~13.1 ft.
  4. If you mount this light over 8 ft, please adjust the angle of the sensor to enlarge the sensing range, otherwise, the performance of light will be affected.
  5. If you want to install two security lights in the same location, the distance between the two lights should be kept at least 16.4ft.
  6. Before installation, please read the user manual carefully and check if the light is in good condition or if some parts of the installation kit are missing. Please ask for help from us if you meet problems in installation.
