This ebay Buy-It-Now offering provides (4) pairs of pneumatic and cordless impact wrench retaining rings each group sized for a 1" anvil with matching o'rings. I provide 2 slightly different style 1" rings. Upon close examination you will see the back side (inner surface) of one steel ring is concave to fit around the circumference of the o'ring. The other steel ring is flat on the inner contact surface with the black rubber o'ring. Both steel rings are USA made steel. They are pressed, shaped and then heat treated to provide a quality firm fit that will safely retain your 1" square drive sockets. Always make sure that you replace worn out 1" drive impact sockets when the inner (female) square drive demonstrates wear. Internal corner wear will wear into the sides of the square drive thus rendering a new ring ineffective. New rings cannot be expected to be a reliable substitute for worn sockets. The rings offered by other sellers on ebay are the flat inner surface. 
My rings listed here are USA made from steel here, then formed and heat treated in the USA for fit and finish.
