Measured without the tongues, measure the shiny area only from above.
Is great as a repair / replacement tile.
There are Youtube videos on how to remove and install just a square.

Only use the proper wood adhesive for gluing it down. (Bruce or Hartco).
To tamp it down carefully use a rubber mallet.
Don't use to much glue, as the tile needs to be level with the older surrounding tiles.
