This is an adapter for the Dewalt orbital palm sander to a 1 1/4" vacuum hose.  It is made of TPU rubber, which means you can smash it with a hammer and it won't break.  I keep my adapter in the bottom of my backpack with now worries.  Even if it gets smashed flat, when you install it on the sander and the vacuum it conforms and works perfect.  

Why do you need this.
I was literally duct taping my vacuum to my sander, so I designed this to solve that problem.  I found that when sanding wood or drywall it is super handy to connect the vacuum.  It obviously collects dust, but when used with a mesh style sanding pad it allows stops the sanding pad from loading up.  This makes the pad last longer, and more importantly saves time, making me more money.

My shop vac hose measures precisely 1.215-1.230" for reference.
