Don't let the dealer rip you off for this costly repair. First time, Ford paid for the repair. Second time, Ford dealership tried to get me for $2200 that then was reduced to $1520 because Ford (Regional Customer Rep) agreed to provide $500(thanks). This is a second occurence of the exact same problem that occurred the first time. Ford is aware of the problem but will not own up to it. The problem is the cheap plastic parts used. Dealer will tell you that the entire frame assembly must be replaced. Wrong! If you have the skills, tools, and patience you can perform this repair yourself. Took my time one Sunday afternoon and saved myself $1020. The dealer will not perform the repair with these parts. The dealer wants the jackpot repair price of having you pay for the entire frame assembly. Bottom line, get this kit and DIY.

So I was extremely pleased with the speed of shipment and with the product once it arrived. The worst part about this repair is it will take you and Buddy at least an hour just to get the sunroof out. It will take you at least an hour to get it back in. By yourself plan on multiple hours. It is absolutely idiotic that these parts are made of such a cheap plastic from the factory. Bisque it felt like good quality to me and I hope it lasts the rest of the life of my truck. Inside the kit was everything I needed with one exception which is why I removed a star. There is no butyl sealant to replace where you remove the plastic at the end of the tracks to remove all of the broken pieces. It would have been better had there been some extra sealant there. This kit also comes with no instructions but it is labeled in the packaging so it is easy to know which is left and right.I know several other guys with the same truck I have and if there's sunroof ever quits I know we can purchase this kit easily and affordably.

The perfect replacement pieces for my 2004 Ford F-150 pick-up truck. Y'all thought this one out very well, even down to the replacement rivets, plastic-miniature-tub of translucent grease. It all fit together very well and made my sunroof motor get back a' working again as it used to. Will definitely recommend this kit again when ever I meet someone with similar sunroof assembly problems.

After reading the reviews I didn't even bother getting an estimate. Just ordered the kit and did the repair. Easy and straight forward if you watch the video.

This job would have cost me over $2k to have the dealer fix it. I bought the kit from Sunroof Doctor for $110. It arrived promptly, and I installed it with no issues. Everything works great. I would highly recommend this product.
